Dog of Karen Brown,
founder of NLMAD.
Cookie
will be riding in the "Cookie Box"with Dr. Jim
Taylor,
a volunteer and Board Member of
New Life Mobility
Assistance Dogs.

All events will begin at

May 16,
2009 - The Currituck Beach Lighthouse
Leg - 10 miles and 25 miles
This leg will begin
at Corolla at the Lighthouse and loop back to end at the Lighthouse for
both the 10 mile leg and the 25 mile leg.
May 23, 2009 - Ashe County - The
Huskie Leg - 10 miles and 25 miles
This leg will
begin in Fleetwood and travel along the scenic New River, ending at the
South Fork Baptist Church in historic Todd, with a loop to return there
for both the 10 mile leg and the 25 mile leg.
May 30, 2009 - Wilkes County - The
Eagle Leg - 7 miles and 25 miles
This leg will
begin at Wilkes Central High School on Moravian Falls Road, going through
this beautiful area, and looping back to the high school for both the 7
mile leg and the 25 mile leg.
June 13, 2009 - Watauga County -
The Pioneer Leg - 10 miles and 25
miles
This leg will begin at Cove Creek in the
foothills, following a fairly flat course, and looping back to Cove Creek
for both the 10 mile leg and the 25 mile leg.
Notice of change in plans:
Due to road closing
along route of Pioneer Leg scheduled for June 13
it will be rescheduled
for the fall --- date will be announced later.
